Strep A is a type of bacteria that causes mild infections, but more serious problems can develop which is called invasive Group A Streptococcus (iGAS) and is potentially life-threatening.
With Strep A currently being a significant issue across the UK, our rapid test offers a quick and convenient way to rule-in or rule-out infection. Our Strep A test is MHRA-approved for home-use.
Strep A can easily be treated with antibiotics once infection is confirmed. Generally, 24 hours after starting a course of antibiotics you are not contagious.1 Otherwise, without antibiotics people can remain contagious for 2-3 weeks after contracting the infection,2 posing a risk to the most vulnerable.
Tests is available to pre-order now, with deliveries expected to commence from 18th January.
